On Wednesday, we had our very last library checkout. Mrs. Fitch has the coolest tradition that she does with 5th graders. On their last check-out of the year, she shows pictures of the very first book students in our class checked out in Columbia Public Schools. If they want, they get to guess which book was theirs. This always brings so many smiles and laughs. Some even decided to check it out!
