We had lots of fun today in the Media Center with our buddy classroom, Mrs. Lindaman's 2nd graders. Mrs. Fitch asked students to design a structure that would pick up leaves and pumpkins. With only the materials she supplied, students had to create a structure, test their structure and made appropriate changes. I was impressed with their problems solving as well as how sweet they were to the younger students.
