Jam Packed Week

 This week was FULL!!  You all spoiled me rotten with teacher appreciation gifts, we had two field trips, I got pied in the face, John Warner counselor and principal came to visit us, we built our service-learning boats and did SO MUCH MORE!!!!  Here are some pictures I captured to share with you all.

Teacher Appreciation Gifts were AMAZING!! I feel so blessed to have worked with this group of kiddos and families.  THANK YOU!!

The counselor and principal came to visit and talk about a typical day in middle school as a 6th graders:

We presented our service learning project to the school, learned about buoyancy with foil boats to test building boats and then spent time building our service-learning boats:

Boone County Nature School

 We had such a good time at the Boone County Nature School on Monday.  We hiked and learned how to use a compass, caught bugs and learned all the ways bugs help us, and even learned about animals in the wild and played a game called camouflage.  Even though students were picking ticks off themselves even when back at Beulah, they said it was totally worth it.  I loved having this adventure with your kiddos!
