Two Days at the Nature School

We had a busy two days at the Nature School. On day one, students worked hard to identified Missouri birds, mapped monarch butterfly migration patterns, and presented data collected from graphs about the changing climate.

Today, students presented data they learned from graphs, played a migration game, did some bird watching and data collection as well as pulled honey suckle and planted seeds.  We have so much fun here!

Holiday Fun

Today we filled our day with so much fun! Students had so much fun doing a Snowman Challenge. The goal was to build the tallest freestanding snowman with limited supplies.  I am always so impressed with this group and how they work together and have fun while doing it!

We also had a blast at the 5th Grade Winter Trivia Party!

'Sick Day' Celebration

We have had a great (snowy) day today! I love all the pajamas, blankets and pillows students brought in for our 'sick day' celebration. An added bonus was the snow!!! We enjoyed chicken noodle soup, crackers and Sprite, then watched a movie this afternoon since so many kids were starting to get picked early due to the snowy conditions. Thankyou to those that sent in snacks today! It was a perfect day to be "sick"!
