We have loved the whiteboard questions of the day this week!
We have started our unit of study on poetry. Students have loved looking at different types of poetry. Students will be creating Poetry Notebooks where they will copy poems and create their own poetry! Students spent time looking at poems and them taking pictures of poems they loved so they can copy them into their own notebooks. We are spending time talking about common characteristics we notice in poems.
These kiddos are ready for their math test tomorrow! They have loved learning about fractions, decimals and percents. I am impressed with strategies they've used to compare fractions.
