Maker's Space Friday

Friday we learned all about circuits in the media center.  The kids had a great time and learned even more about electricity.  We used Snap Circuits Jr.  It was pretty reasonable on Amazon.  I know I just ordered one for my son! What a fun day!

Career Week and Math Games

This week we have been talking about different careers in preparation for Career Day Friday.  Thank you to all the parents that have been available to come talk to 4th graders about their job! 

In math this week we have continued our study of division.  We also learned about factors.  

Sometimes it's more fun to use manipulatives than do book work!!  

We have also bee playing lots of division games during math to help us practice our facts!

Matching/Hat Day and Spelling Bee

Congrats to Riley Rolwing and Chase Dunafon for doing an AWESOME job representing our class in the school-wide Spelling Bee!!

Kindness Week

This week we celebrated Kindness at Beulah Ralph.  We sent our First Grade Buddies on a kindness scavenger hunt throughout the building.  They had to spread kindness everywhere they went!  We were the treasure at the end.  We made them cards and they made us kindness fortune tellers.  We enjoyed a fun snack together and then talked about ways to spread random acts of kindness!  

Researching Missouri Cities

Students have been busy reading and researching important cities in Missouri's history!  They are researching  either Jefferson City, St. Louis, Kansas City, Hannibal, St. Joseph, Genevieve or Joplin.  I am super impressed with how well they are doing!
