Principal Appreciation Day & Good Luck on the MAP

Today, our 1st grade buddies surprised us with a sweet poster to wish us GOOD LUCK on the MAP test. 

 

They brought us Smarties, sidewalk chalk and bubbles.  

We had a great time with them!

We also were busy today getting ready for Principal Appreciation Day on Monday!

Citizen of the Month & MAP treats

Congratulations to Ben Morse for being our April Citizen of the Month.  

The kids voted and I couldn't agree more.  

MAP testing starts on Monday!!  

I think the kiddos will be pretty excited to see these sweet treats I made for them each day.  

Historical Museum- Route 66 Field Trip

Students had such a great time on the field trip today!  They learned all about the history of Route 66 and "traveled" in groups to learn about cars, food, troubles people had, hotels and more.  They also spent some time looking at resources and learning about Lewis and Clark, migrants and 49ers and why they came to Missouri.  It was such a gorgeous day, we ended up having a wonderful picnic in the park!
